I totally get it! As a Primary Healthcare Nurse working with GP’s, I meet people just like you every day. You may have tried many weight loss programs only to lose weight and regain it again. I have seen first-hand the struggles and successes of many people and the impact lifestyle has on their lives including diabetes, heart disease and some forms of cancer.
About 4 years ago I noticed a gap in our system for people just like you, who wanted to receive ongoing support, care and coordination around long term lifestyle changes and weight management. I realised then that if I was going to help people with their weight and lifestyle changes, I needed to do something to fill that gap.
After doing some extra studies in weight management and listening to my patients, I created an evidence based lifestyle and weight management program working closely with GP’s and allied health professionals to equip you with the knowledge, skills and mindset needed to reach your healthy living goals for the long term.
My Health Priority was created through my desire to inspire and support you to be the healthiest version of yourself and to prevent chronic diseases. I am convinced that weight management is an ongoing and holistic process that includes aspects of mindset/psychology, nutrition and physical activity. It is the combination of all these aspects that enables the body to perform in the way it was intended.

I’m a Weight Management Practitioner and it’s my goal to help you improve your health, prevent chronic diseases and maintain a healthy lifestyle for the rest of your life. This is what I love to do!
When I’m not seeing clients or working as a nurse, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 kids. I love bushwalking, cycling, traveling and experiencing different cultures and food, having people over for a meal, or reading a good book with a cup of tea during one of Canberra’s cold winter days.
And, most of all…. I love helping people like you who want to lose weight and make your health a priority.
